Our Deepest Fear
By Marianne Williamson
Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness
That most frightens us.
We ask ourselves
Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?
Actually, who are you not to be?
You are a child of God.
Your playing small
Does not serve the world.
There's nothing enlightened about shrinking
So that other people won't feel insecure around you.
We are all meant to shine,
As children do.
We were born to make manifest
The glory of God that is within us.
It's not just in some of us;
It's in everyone.
And as we let our own light shine,
We unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.
As we're liberated from our own fear,
Our presence automatically liberates others.

About Becoming Your Own Boss
Human potential is limitless. You can achieve whatever you put your mind too.
However, when it comes to achieving goals and aspirations, the neurodiverse brain works differently compared to a neurotypical person.
There are many different types of learning differences, some of the more well known are attention deficit-hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), dyslexia, dyspraxia and dyscalculia.
Many people with a learning difference struggle with their executive function. These difficulties can cause trouble with learning. But they don't mean that people are lazy or not intelligent.

Neurodiversity is not a learning disability. It is a learning difference. There isn't actually anything wrong with you. Your brain is just wired differently. Which means that you learn things at your own pace. In your own unique special way. Instead of the neurotypical way.
But here's the thing, if you don't formulate empowering habits and new ways of managing your unique neurodiverse learning style, you will continue to sabotage your business goals, especially if you try to compete with others, who have a different way of thinking and behaving to you. You will more than likely think that there's something wrong with you because you're always playing catch-up. Which will no doubt have a knock on effect on your confidence and self-esteem. You may also find yourself going in circles with your business, procrastinating or getting overwhelm by all the things you need to be doing do. Or you will work excessively around the clock because you are so anxious about achieving your goals and end up burning yourself out because you just don't know how to switch off.
Does any of this resonate?
'Becoming Your Own Boss' was founder and is run by Donna Hudson, who found out that she had ADHD aged 31 whilst at university back in 2005.
The sole purpose for why the business was created in the first place, was to help ambitious neurodiverse professional women who are building their business whilst still in their 9-5 job, to shift their mindset from being an employee to an entrepreneur. So that they leave their career fully equipped with all the tools, resources, skills and knowledge required to run their own stainable profitable business. The business also supports established business owners with tools and resources to help them to self-regulate disempowering emotions and create empowering habits. That helps to scale both themselves and their business to the next level.
But here's the thing, having the desire to work for yourself and run your own profitable business is a great goal to have. But, it is not enough to only be focusing on the practical elements of building your business. Such as getting a website, business cards, email campaigns and posting on social media etc. The two core areas, that so many women fail to prioritise when working on their business is investing in their mindset and learning how to manage their emotions.
Did you know that your business success is 80% mindset and 20% strategy?
That's pretty alarming, don't you think?
And what's even more shocking is that so many women are building their business thinking like an employee. Instead of like an entrepreneur. And then wonder why they are constantly being stressed out by everything pertaining to their business.
